When Remmington created this pend and ink drawing, circa 1887, the working title was A Seminole Half-Breed. A suitabel tltle for this wonderful sketch featuring strong facial features, rounded toe mocasins and indian sadle blankets contrasted with the Winchester .44 and modified cavalry garb.
