William Henry Holmes "The Quartzite Group - San Juan Mountains"
This piece originated in Ferdinand Hayden's "Geological Atlas of Colorado". Printed in 1877, framed about 1997.
I sold these to some guy back in 1997. Just recently, I was able to get them back again. As I recall from decades ago, the atlas from where they came was damaged and these chromolithographs were saved from ruin. The presentation is pretty cool.
